Glowing

This is one of my best friends, and over the weekend we had a baby shower for her, and she gracefully allowed me to torture her with my camera for a little bit. I saw this photo as I was going through the session, and it stopped me in my tracks. She is a beautiful woman, she has always been beautiful, but now, my goodness. It is as though she has been lit from within - she is truly glowing. All that joy, all that love, you can see it on her face. That baby is one lucky little girl, and we can't wait to meet her. 

Senior 2012 Model Search!

I can hardly believe it is already February! Time is moving right along, and before we know it SPRING will be here (I hope & pray - I don't think I can stand any more ice, snow, or single digit temps!). Which means time is approaching for current high school juniors to begin thinking about senior photos. This year I will be starting a senior model program! If you are a member of the Class of 2012 (or know someone who is) and you'd like the opportunity to have your photo taken for free and the chance to earn some great discounts on items such as albums, prints, and invitations, then this might be for you. I will chose one model from each local high school (Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville, Westfield, Indy North) and I am looking for people with great energy & a positive attitude. More details to follow soon about how to apply, but start passing the word now!

Thank You

Almost all of the holiday orders of prints, albums, canvases, and cards have been delivered, and I am starting to shift my attention to finishing up all the details around here for our family Christmas. I had my most successful year yet, and that is thanks to all of you. I could put up the most expensive website, send out thousands of mailers, and post constant updates to Facebook, but none of that would work half as well as you spreading the word to friends, family, and acquaintances about my services. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for trusting me to preserve your family's memories this year, and I hope to see you all again in the new year to document a new set of memories. I hope everyone has a very happy and healthy holidays and a wonderful new year!

Falling Back in Step

My camera has been clicking almost non-stop this month, and although my eyes are a little tired and my shoulders a little sore from all the editing, I am so energized by all the great images I have captured. I even had a chance to sneak in a quick beach session with my kiddos at Lake Michigan (along with a quick weekend getaway with friends!). I'll be staying busy over the next month or so, but there are still weekend sessions available if you're out there and interested in scheduling. And thanks to all this beautiful warm weather we've been having, the fall colors should extend out an extra weekend or two!
